About Me

My name is M. Drozda (my professional name), and I am a UK-based traditional animator and character artist, originally born in Slovakia. I am a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University’s animation course, where my focus is towards 2D animation, and have been trained in such.

Some of my past projects whilst at university take a strong emphasis on both anthropomorphic characters as well as stylization to better showcase my range; this is where my specialty lies, as well as having a knack for the old animation principles, with a strong sense of timing.

My work takes inspiration from the Golden Age of Animation, the works of Don Bluth, the 2010s renaissance of animation, and the illustrations of Peter de Seve. 

When not working on their creative work, I enjoy taking long walks, and collects art books to further expand my knowledge on the medium of animation, striving to keep improving my skillset within my field, and keeping a solid record of animation history and continuing to fuel my passion for the medium.
