Hello!
M. Drozda is a UK-based traditional animator and character artist, originally born in Slovakia. They are a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University’s animation course, where their focus is towards 2D animation.
Some of their past projects whilst at university take a strong emphasis on both anthropomorphic characters as well as stylization to better showcase their range; this is where M’s specialty lies, as well as having a knack for the old animation principles, with a strong sense of timing.
Their work takes inspiration from the Golden Age of Animation, the works of Don Bluth, the 2010s renaissance of animation, and the illustrations of Peter de Seve.
When not working on their creative work, M enjoys taking long walks, and collects art books to further expand their knowledge on the medium of animation, striving to keep improving their skillset within their field, and keeping a solid record of animation history.
M. is currently available for freelance and full-time work in 2D animation (hand-drawn), character design, and animatic work, as well as commission work.
